This is very interesting. It is similar in many respects to how I envisioned the unseen princess but at the same time quite different. I like the idea of the outfit but I think that it would go well on a princess from a dessert themed land. However, considering that Eclair is from a pastry themed place, the outfit in retrospect may be apt.

Moving on, there is nothing I can see wrong with the look overall (barring a couple small details regarding lines) and it is great to see a new kind of princess.

Yeah, there's a few places where I was gonna narrow out the lines but forgot to do so, so I was just like "D'OH ". XD I really like her dress myself, it's detailed for being Paper Mario styled. A while back when I first started imagining Eclair, she looked WAY different, but over time I took the Princess Rose from my past and dressed her up like a cupcake. Mostly because I keep forgetting what an eclair is hurrr (I do know, I just keep forgetting XD). Other Eclairs I see are too plain or TOO detailed, and the brown dresses on some...eh, not a design choice I myself find attractive.

I once had Eclair appear in passing in a story set around a ball where all the rulers met for one night in peace, but the look I had set up had her with tan skin, dark brown hair done up in a tight French bun, and a green and custard-yellow outfit with bronze jewelry. Her husband was a short man with shoulder-length chestnut brown hair, scarlet tunic and cream-colored pants. Not really sure why I went with green any more. Maybe an off-white would go better.

Since it was in passing, I never really thought too hard on the actual appearances.

As for the "too much detail for Paper Mario style", maybe you could get rid of the sprinkles? Oh, and Eclair link with images.

Oh, I didn't mean I disliked the amount of detail in my design, what I meant was it's detailed without being too outrageous or betraying the style. I like the sprinkles. D:
